Little Pig... Let me in...
We used some of the morning to build a house that was strong enough to protect the Little Pig from the Big Bad Wolf. Later, we tested them against the Big Bad Wolf (aka my hairdryer). I am happy to say we only had one house fall apart... we have some strong engineers!
Whata... day!
From Talend show, to PGP Showcase and Watermelon Party to boot... we have had a wonderful sweet day!
HCE's GOT Talent!
It was a wonderful day of celebrating confidence and talent. I think this may be one of my favorites of the year. I am so proud of each one how they performed and cheered their friends on!
it's all about the AUTHORS's
Publisher's Picnic was HOT HAPPENING SPACE... thank's for braving the heat to celebrate all that they have done. I hope you can see that we have worked to write all across the curriculum and not just in writing! Way to go - and I am so proud of their work!

SLIME the TEACHER of the day!
Thursday was a great day! Miss Andrews did a fantastic job leading the learning on Thursday. She helped us make slime and even led a few reading groups. We are in good hands and I can retire!

Writing the story
Students worked together today to use a number sentence and write the word problem to match. After time was given, we rotated and students solved the problem. It was great to see all disciplines work together, reading, writing math and collaboration. We will do this again tomorrow using problems that have start and change missing. Stayed tuned for more samples of this higher level thinking.

Our Future is BRIGHT
With these kids running the world ( or the COuntry in the case of Ford) we are in good hands and can all retire. We will have successful geologist, ballet teachers, nurses, sports casters, engineers, and sports stars! The Job Presentations were great!
