Adding by making 10!

We are learning how to add numbers to 20 by making 10 and then adding the extra ones. I have solved a problem for you to check out.  Please remember, we are learning the process.   Most all the kids can solve the problem, but we want them to show how they did it.   This will help us when we start to add numbers that are larger and have more groups of 10.

It was great seeing the kids' hearts full as they donated to Toys For Tots.  Santa helps!

Fun Run Fun!

It was a beautiful day for a little run!  Thank you for supporting our sister school and making it a fun day for our kids.  Ms. Andrews and I even took a lap (I need to run with the kids more - much faster pace).

Field Day Fun...Super Hero Power!

The rain held out for a fun day, and even though we didn't win...the SUPER HERO POWERS were strong!  It was a great day of learning to be a team, working on gross motor coordination and so much more!  Thank you to all the parents that helped make our day great.  From noise makers to mask...it was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!
