Our Future Workforce...

We can all retire with peace of mind...our future will be filled with great workers.  This week had kids present on their future jobs.  We had real estate agents, teachers, vets, zoo keepers, a horse back riding instructor, a geologist, an artist, a chef, a dancer, you tuber, a musician, and even a rocket scientist!  They did a great job researching and understanding their future jobs purpose and tools!

When I GROW UP...

We took some time write about what we want to be when we grow UP!  I can't wait to see everyone grow into their life passion!  We have a future baseball player, artist, vet, dentist and even a magician. Our future is BRIGHT!

JOBS!

Today we were treated to a job presentation by Coach Lytal from Memorial High School. He did a great job at showing the tools a coach uses and the purpose of the job.

This was a great example for our jobs project!

Rain rain... Couldn't Keep Us Away!

It was a great day of learning in the field. Students researched about their animal and took measurements. We will continue to use our field experience to research about the animals. Be sure to check back and see the recreated zoo we will make using our measurements.

Telling time to the HOUR...

Did you know that a clock is just a number line that repeats every 12 hours.  Today we practice telling time to the hour by first looking at it with a number line and then turning our number line into a clock.

A great way to remember the hands - the Minute hand is longer and minute is a longer word than hour!
