Map Skills Get Us Where We Need to Go!

We are starting to learn about map skills. We created a map with all kinds of buildings that are located in a community,. we even had a construction site (Thanks Logan - that makes Mrs. J feel right at home from the mess on Memorial). The first step was to learn about relative locations like near, far, next to, to the left of and to the right of. We used our iPads to record a description of the buildings that we made in our own city map! We also put some motions to learning about where we live in the big picture. Hope you like our work!
